My friend Anna and I spent a day earlier this month hiking the Falls Trail at Ricketts Glen State Park in our beautiful and homey northeast PA. There were way more falls than I expected, and they overwhelmed my heart every time. There’s just something intense and awe-inspiring about such powerful rushing water that makes me want to CRY.
Anyways, Anna snapped some lovely photos of me along the trail that I think captured the joy and peace I felt that day. See the highlights below. You can also check out her blog with a much more in depth description of the trip at her blog page Where Creativity Works. Thank you again, Anna.
It’s been a rough time writing-wise for me lately, but my horoscope told me to stop waiting, so here I am……….Another post will be coming next week. Stay tuned for that, and stay sane in the meantime.
Much love — Cas
Great photos. It’s been a while since I’ve been on a long hike, and even longer since I’ve seen a waterfall,

Right! Thank you! You should try to get out–it’s such a good time of year to go out during the early evening just around when it starts to cool off a bit. 🙂
